10 Ways To Fix Your Computer Problems

Many of us are so dependent on our computers that it becomes a severe problem when something goes wrong with the system. Of course, you want to fix the PC problems and get your system back to normal, but that’s often easier said than done. It’s no exaggeration to say an almost limitless number of things can go wrong with a computer because everyone’s system and settings are different. It can seem almost impossible to know where to begin when troubleshooting your way back to a working machine.

On the internet, there are many things you can do to fix computer problems. You can get free programs or paid programs. Each program has its advantages and disadvantages. We will list what each one does in detail below to help you distinguish which ones work for you if any. If none of these go well with you, then it is possible that your computer needs to be updated or you need a new one.

  • Backing up: This will store all your files onto the internet so if anything happens to your computers, such as viruses and crashes, those files can be recovered. You can use an external storage device or backup via the net.
  • Uninstalling programs: Computer programs hog your computer’s memory, so it is always good to have the least amount of them running. To uninstall a program, right-click on the program’s shortcut you want to uninstall and select “uninstall”.
  • Updating drivers: Driver updates are critical as they are what give your computer directions. Make sure to get the latest drivers for your computer. To update, uninstall programs that you think are unnecessary to run your computer or look at the manufacturer of your computer’s website to see if they have updated drivers.
  • Installing Windows Updates: Windows updates will keep your computer patched up and protected against viruses and other threats. It is essential to install the updates, but be aware that it can affect performance if you get too many windows updates. Look out for windows updates.
  • Joining the Windows 10 Insider Program: This will allow you to get Windows 10 early to try it before it officially comes out. It is good because there are no viruses and Microsoft is taking care of all threats. If you are interested, check out their website.
  • Deleting temporary files: Temporary files can slow down your computer because the information physically takes up space on your computer’s memory. You can delete temp files by entering “temp” into Windows’ search bar and pressing enter.
  • Inspecting startup programs: Startup programs are programs that automatically open up when you turn on your computer. Too many startup programs can slow down your computer, so it is best to delete any unnecessary ones.
  • Updating Windows: You can check for updates by clicking start and typing “update” into the search bar. You should update windows regularly.
  • Removing viruses: Computer viruses can stop your computer from working or even delete files! It is essential to install the updates, but be aware that it can affect performance if you get too many windows updates.
  • Downloading programs: There are many free and paid programs you can download to fix your computer. For example, some well-paid ones are CCleaner, AVG, and Malwarebytes. For free programs, try Avast, Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D.

These are all of the things you can do to fix PC problems and optimize the performance of your system. However, we advise you to perform the above procedure only if you are well versed with them.
